Who says courthouse weddings can’t be full of meaning, emotion, and unforgettable style? This Laguna Hills Civic Center wedding is living proof that even the simplest setting can feel like magic when you bring intention and heart into every detail. From a first look full of butterflies to a custom suit jacket lined with years of handwritten love letters (!!), this day was such a sweet celebration of love, loyalty, and growing up together. Ten years after their middle school romance began, they made it official in the most heartfelt way!

A First Look Straight Out of a Love Letter
Before they even stepped into the courthouse, they took a moment just for themselves. Hidden away in the arches of the Laguna Hills Civic Center, they shared the kind of first look that makes your chest ache in the best way, full of nerves, smiles, and so much anticipation. But the real tearjerker? When he revealed the inside of his suit jacket, lined with every single love letter she had ever written him. Centered in the middle was an old photo of them, arms wrapped around each other, time-stamped with love and history. It was the kind of gesture that said, I see you, I remember it all, and I still choose you. Every inch of that moment felt like a reflection of their relationship: intentional, romantic, and deeply rooted.

The Sweetest “I Do” at Laguna Hills Civic Center
The Laguna Hills Civic Center is kind of a secret gem for couples wanting something simple but beautiful. With its clean white walls, Spanish-style arches, and sunny SoCal glow, it gave off major romantic elopement vibes without needing much extra. They said their vows beneath a floral arch in a cozy indoor room with beachy mural walls, beautiful, relaxed, and just right. There were bubbles floating through the air, soft florals in hand, and that just-married glow on both of their faces as they walked out hand in hand. It was sweet, lighthearted, and full of warmth, exactly how a courthouse wedding should feel!

Don’t Skip the Details (Even for a Courthouse Wedding)
Even with a smaller wedding, this couple didn’t skip the details, and it made all the difference. Her bouquet had delicate charms tucked into the ribbon. Their veil was personalized with their initials and wedding date. And the staircase portraits? They gave full editorial bridal energy, with her flowy gown and heels making a soft, romantic statement. Every element felt thoughtful, like a love letter to their past and a bold step into their future. If you’ve been wondering whether to put energy into the little things for a civil ceremony or courthouse wedding, here’s your sign! The details matter, because your story matters.
